Initially, Quinyx app consisted of a few modules, allowing clients to customize their experience to fit their needs with a flat information architecture. However, as the product grew and the number of modules increased, it became increasingly difficult to maintain and sustain from a UX perspective. As a solution, we shifted from a content-focused approach to a context-focused approach by implementing a deep IA.
A Case Study on IA Refactoring
Somewhere along the way, the allure of interface design faded and became centered around appearance only. In present-day society, individuals who place importance on physical appearance and beauty are frequently perceived as shallow and materialistic. Although Michelangelo, da Vinci and many others would probably argue it.
People like to be viewed as profound and are becoming obsessed with creating something grand and significant. Designers want to create products, experiences, and purpose even. Little do they know, creating outstanding interfaces is the key to connecting users and products in a meaningful way. Much like how beauty is more than a skin-deep.
